弗兰克·马修斯 (also known as “Frank the Tank”) is a Modern World History teacher as well as the Ida B. Wells Men’s Soccer coach and Social Studies chair. He was born and raised in Rockford, 伊利诺斯州, where he lived for the first seventeen years of his life before going to the University of Wisconsin. He double majored in education and history, before pursuing his first job as a teacher in a Taiwanese international school in 1998. He’s remained a history teacher since, and he arrived at Ida B. 2016年的油井. “I like learning about history, and teaching allows me to be a lifelong learner,” says Mathews.
